Camouflage Fashion Showcase

Hundreds of people, young and old, gathered at the Bon Accord St Nicolas Shopping Centre on April 17th to see the Camouflage Fashion Showcase led by The Gordon Highlanders Museum.

The camouflage inspired garments were created by twenty 3rd year textile students of Gray's School of Art with the assistance of Aberdeen-based designer, Isabelle Randall, who also showcased a number of designer pieces.

John Lewis beauticians took the lead on making-up the local guys and girls who modelled the garments. The event was compered by Northsound Radio 1 presenter Michael Gordon, followed by a professional photoshoot conducted by Stuart Johnson with camouflage objects created by The Flower Room.

A selection of the garments are on permanent display at the Museum from April - October 2008.

Copies of photographs from the photoshoot are available on request. Please email the museum office:museum@gordonhighlanders.com.
