    Interesting that the character receiving the favour is depicted wearing two different Cameron tartans; a jacket in the Cameron of Erracht tartan which was deigned for 79th the previous year, and the Cameron of Lochiel, a c.1800 tartan by Wilsons of Bannockburn.

    Both tartans appear in other Skeoch Cumming works and it is likely that they were studio tartans he had to hand.
